If there is one type of make up that I am addicted to, its lipstick. I am a lipstick fiend. I can’t stop myself buying more and more lipsticks and I’m always looking for that perfect shade, or the long lasting lipstick that will actually last, etc.
I have tried lots and lots and lots of lip sticks in my day, and I have to say Medusa Make-Up’s line of Vegan lipsticks are one of my favorites. These are fairly long lasting, I did reapply half way through the day but I also am constantly eating so that doesn’t really help the lipstick to stay on.
The thing I liked the most about this particular lipstick is the way that it felt on my lips. It isn’t super waxy like a lot of lip sticks are, it feels really nice and moisturizing and doesn’t dry my lips out.
It’s also awesome that they are Vegan! I actually met the owners of this company at the American Beauty Show in Chicago and they were so nice, its a mom and pop type of company and the products are amazing. They gave me a bunch of eye shadows and things that I will also be testing out so stay tuned!

As you have probably deduced I am in a major organization kick right now. I have all of these things that just sit there and don’t get used. I don’t like being wasteful so I have set out to rid myself of the things I don’t use, and make accessible the things that I do.
Organizing my make up has always been a big ordeal for me. I have a lot of it that I forget about and it ends up not getting used very often. I found these really awesome clear organizers at TJ Max and they were all between 5-7 dollars a piece. They weren’t that expensive and they display my make up in a cute and visible way!
I love love love them, if you don’t want to take a stroll down to the store you can also get them here. They are a little bit more expensive online but they are totally worth it! They look nice and are pretty durable.

So if you are like me, you have a bunch of hair ties… head bands… barrettes… and whatever else rolling around a draw in your bathroom that you meticulously picked out at the store, wore once and than could never find it again.
I would do my hair, remember a thing that I had bought… look for maybe a minute and than give up. All of my accessories were taking up precious room in my bathroom and I wasn’t even bothering to use any of them. So I finally came up with a solution!
I had bought this dress shaped hanging jewelry organizer at Ross a few months ago for about $5.00 but was also too lazy to get around to ever putting my jewelry in it…. so I used it for my hair accessories instead! I got a little command hook from the dollar store and now my hair accessories are not only clearly visible but they are also a wall decoration for my bathroom! It’s cheap, its easy, its cute and I love it so I thought I would share my idea with you. Hope you like it!
If you like this and want to buy your own but don’t want to go to the store, you can purchase one here.

I absolutely love glitter, especially in my makeup. If I could wear bold glitter makeup every single day I would but I am just way too lazy for that. Generally speaking, glittery makeup is extremely high maintenance. With constant flaking and and smearing, it can be a really big mess and I just don’t have time to reapply my makeup every time I go to the bathroom but now all of that has changed.
I was recently at the American Beauty Show in Chicago and while I was there I found a miracle product. Eye Kandy not only has 60 colors of glitter to chose from, but they also have invented a glitter base that basically makes the glitter unsmudgeable and keeps it from flaking all day. It’s called “Liquid Sugar” and it’s just about the best cosmetic invention that I’ve ever seen. Watch the short clip below for an example of this amazing base!
The shades shown above are (Left) Sizzlin’ Cinnamon (Middle) Caramel Apple and (Right) Confetti but you can see and purchase all of their products here and learn more about their other products here.
Liquid Sugar is $22.00 so it’s about average price for a primer but it will last you a very very long time. You only really need a drop or two for it to work. Simple dip your applicator brush in the primer, than dip it into the glitter and apply! It’s that easy. The glitter is less than $8.00 and will also last you a while (depending on how much you use) so overall the products are very affordable.
The Eye Kandy “sprinkles” as they call them are all pure cosmetic glitter so it is safe to use on your eyes and lips. I’ve even seen people glitter their eyebrows with the stuff and it always stays put! Eye Kandy Cosmetics has a range of products that aren’t glitter as well like eye shadow and mascara but I haven’t tried these yet.
This product is a must have for all glitter fanatics and would be great for dance teams and performers who need sturdier make up that won’t get messed up so easily. I would recommend it everyone and I definitely plan to buy more shades myself.
