star wars

Finally all of our worrying has come to an end. Star Wars will have a presence at San Diego Comic Con and it is the best news I have gotten in a very long time. After all this time of debating whether or not they would stay away from Comic Con because of D23 or not, the wait is over. They have actually posted the entire schedule for their events here.

The biggest news is that they have already announced that they ill be in Hall H on Friday. They haven’t said what time but I can guarantee you it will be a mad house. I am a Hall H’er myself and I remember last year when Marvel AND Lord of the Rings was there on the same day… that was crazy. I’m sure this will be worse. Comic Con themselves have not released the schedule so this may be subject to change but I doubt that’ll happen if they were confident enough to put it on their own website.

For those of you who do not want to battle the crazy people like me waiting in line for Hall H, there are more events for you to attend! There will be smaller panels with the publishers and even one on Star Wars collectables. There will also be an event open to the public in the Gas Lamp District outside the convention center, no passes needed! This seems to be some sort of interactive experience where you can duel Disney Characters with light sabers so I have to say, I’m already a fan. They also mentioned their will be surprise visits so this would definitely be a good place to stake out!

Below is the official schedule from Starwars.com. I’ll be updating you with more info as I get it. May the Force be with you!
